Vostok has been producing men's mechanical wristwatches for almost 80 years. The first Chistopol watchmakers, famous for their highest professionalism, formed the principles of reliable and accurate operation during the terrible war years, when the plant produced watch movements for the needs of the front. They became mandatory for all subsequent generations of workers.

Today, "Vostok" is the only watch factory in Russia that has a full (closed) production cycle of watch movements and mechanical wristwatches. A distinctive feature of Vostok brand products is their compliance with European quality standards and Russian prices.

Their mechanical watches accurately keep time at any temperature, in any aggressive environment, and can withstand shocks and overloads. Over all the years of work, Chistopol watchmakers have not deviated one iota from the classical scheme - all models of mechanisms have the so-called Swiss anchor escapement system, steel anchor wheels and forks, support on ruby ​​stones, watch springs made of special precision alloys and a shockproof balance unit device.

Since 1965, the Chistopol watch factory "Vostok" has become the official supplier of watches for the Ministry of Defense. The “Commander” watches, as these chronometers came to be called, immediately won recognition among career officers because of their reliability and practicality.
